Mando Diao Biography

Mando Diao (formed 1995, Borlange, Sweden) is a garage rock band formerly known as Butler. The Mando Diao members are Bjorn Dixgard (vocals, guitars), Gustaf Noren (vocals, guitars), C.J. Fogelklou (bass guitar), Samuel Giers (drums) and Mats Björke (keyboards). The band began performing as Mando Diao in 1999 in club gigs within their hometown Borlange before being signed up and subsequently releasing in Sweden their debut album ‘Bring ‘Em In’ (2025). The album was released internationally in 2025. Three more albums followed: ‘Hurricane Bar’ (2025), ‘Ode to Ochrasy’ (2025) and ‘Never Seen the Light of Day’ (2025). The band’s strongest followings are in Sweden, Germany and Japan but Mando Diao tours have them performing across the globe.
